MP Tejasvi Surya congratulates APS for its Contribution to the field of Education for 90 years

Bengaluru, Feb 9: MP Tejasvi Surya acknowledged APS as a renowned institution dedicated to uplifting underprivileged, marginalized, and handicapped children. 


In his address to the APS Board, the minister congratulated the institution on completing 90 years of excellence in education. He praised the minimal fees charged by the institution and emphasized that it has never been commercialized. He recommended offering value-added courses to bridge the gap between university education and industry expectations. Additionally, he advised the Board to develop a second line of management to ensure the institution's continuous progress. He assured the APS Board of his full support for the institution's growth and advancement.



The President of APS Trust, CA Dr. Vishnu Bharath Alampalli, gave a brief introduction about APS and highlighted that over a lakh students have graduated from the institution and around 7,000 alumni's attended the recent Alumni meet. He noted the support given to 70 visually impaired children pursuing education and further added, that DRDO had entrusted APS with a project to develop a robot for the battlefield to save precious human lives.


Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, Unicorn Prashanth Prakash, Chakravarthy Sulibele, India's Ambassador Vikram Vora, and other VVIPs had also visited APS recently and addressed the students.


The APS Board members and heads of institutions were present at the meeting.
